There are many folks out there (myself included, of course) that are getting somewhat upset with their current gen PS4 games having screen tearing. Since not many review sites and forums deal with this matter and since it's very disappointing to notice this after we bought the game in question, I'd like to start a growing list of PS4 games known for having this issue. I know consoles will never be as powerful as PCs and there will always be games with this. I'm not getting into any arguments about that. I'm just compiling those games in order to have some clues for gamers who dislike those artifacts, to help them decide whether a game is worth their hard earned money or not (at least in that regard).
A big thank you to everyone who can help me get this list assembled. I'd like to specify if the games:
-Have screen tearing on normal PS4 but have not been tested on PS4 Pro.
-Have screen tearing on normal PS4 but not on PS4 Pro.
-Have screen tearing BOTH on normal PS4 and PS4 Pro.
-Had screen tearing upon release but a subsequent patch fixed the problem.
It will be greatly appreciated if you put that info along with the games you list! Anyway, here are mine (they all have screen tearing on normal PS4s but since I don't have a PS4 Pro, I don't know first-hand if they still have screen tearing there as well):
-Little Big Planet 3
-Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition (apparently there's no screen tearing on PS4 Pro, if youtube videos and publicity are to believe)
-Watch Dogs (barely notiecable)
-Deus Ex: Mankind Divided (with screen tearing on BOTH systems, according to some youtube videos, too)
I know that alone doesn't say much about how good/fun a game actually is, but it's handy to have that info, specially when review sites rarely specify it. Again, thanks a lot and happy gaming!
Today? Yes, I'm happy I have the time to! Considering I have three years planning to do this, of course! I trust you're OK with that? Other than that, I'd appreciate any help you can give!
I edited it because I sounded too harsh the first time around... sorry...
I have noticed screen tearing on some of the games myself.
Call of Duty: Ghosts on PS4 (PS3 have no screen tearing)
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 on PS4 (barely noticable, tears only the top 10% of screen)
Borderlands 2 on PS3.
Rocket League on PS4 have a Vertical Sync option. It doesn't have screen tear while v-sync is on (default). But it does have screen tear only when V-sync is off. The advantage of disabling V-Sync is, lower input latency and I do notice lower input latency, at a cost of screen tearing. It is nice to see options. I would like to see options on more games.
For me it depends on the game, I saw it on one lego titles, that I don't recall. Strangely I didn't notice it on LBP 3.
Good luck on your list.

GOW 3 on PS3 comes to mind when I think of tearing...May even have been GOW 2, can't remember.
This issue has rarely bothered me though on PS4...
